Day 5 of the challenge and we still have a whole lot of photos coming in (including a few from last night but I fell asleep to early to put them on the Day 4 post). I am so appreciative of everyone’s participation- it really shows how many people are touched by inflammatory bowel diseases!
If you missed out on yesterday’s conversation, you can read the full Twitter log here.

One of My daughters has a serious case of Ulcerative Colitis. I recently heard that they are using stem cells for IBD… What do you know about that?

I haven’t heard much about stem cells but I did hear about bone marrow transplants as a way to treat IBD (pretty similar). I actually wrote about it on the blog a few months ago: https://caringforcrohns.com/2012/08/14/new-treatment-on-the-horizon/.
I will look into stem cells and let you know!
